Martin Luther was the defining personality of the Reformation era. His intermittent visits to the present-day trading city of Leipzig led to the success of the Reformation in the 16th century.

Your 4-day trip to Saxony will give you a close-up view of this formative personality of the Reformation era and take you on a journey through the most important cities that made this period so unique.
First you will be guided through the city of Torgau, the city that Luther is known to have visited 40 times. Afterwards you will visit the monastery church in the town of Grimma, where Paul Gerhardt worked. You will also explore the oldest Saxon royal seat, Meissen. You will learn about the history of the trading city of Leipzig and immerse yourself in its multifaceted cultural and musical history. Thanks to the special tips from your guide, there is nothing to stop you from shopping in the beautiful city centre of Leipzig. In Schneeberg, you will then visit St. Wolfgang's Church with the Cranach Altar.
