The smell of food. Enjoying yourself at a special event. In Saxony, travellers will have plenty of opportunities to make memories and really get to know the region and its people. We are looking forward to welcoming you!

Innovations made in Saxony

Saxony has always been the place for movers and shakers, for inventors, pioneers and masterminds. This small region has changed the world with some amazing inventions: daily newspaper, teabag or milk chocolate (no, it wasn't a Swiss invention) just to mention some examples. The list is longer than you can imagine, but we have shortlisted a few, which are surely known and used by almost everone perhaps daily.
