The EURORANDO hiking festival (20 to 27 Sep 2026) is the largest festival of its kind in Europe and brings thousands of guests from many nations to the cross-border UNESCO World Heritage "The Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří Mining Region". For the first time, it will take place in two countries simultaneously, connecting the most beautiful hiking trails on both sides of the German-Czech border. The picturesque Fichtelberg and Klínovec (Keilberg) region in the heart of Europe expects approximately 7,000 overnight guests from about 15 European countries, as well as numerous day-trippers.

Visitors can choose from more than 50 guided and self-guided hikes, where they’ll discover the region’s exceptional nature, history, and culture. From leisurely walks and themed trails to challenging long hikes, there’s something for everyone. The accompanying program reflects the region’s vibrant culture and traditions: exhibitions, concerts, and a market featuring regional products will offer plenty of opportunities to fully experience the Ore Mountains with all your senses.
