  • August Horch Museum Zwickau

    It’s not widely known outside Germany, but the small town of Zwickau used to be one of the centres of the country‘s car industry. In 1904, one August Horch laid the foundations here for car manufacturing in Saxony and for what later became the “Vorsprung durch Technik” Audi brand, now all to be explored in the August Horch Museum including many fabulous classic cars!

  • Robert Schumann Haus Zwickau

    On 8 June 1810, Robert Schumann, widely regarded as one of the greatest composers of the Romantic era, was born in Zwickau and music lovers can today visit his birthplace where exhibits such as photography, letters and original furniture provide intimate insights in the composer’s life.

  • „Neue Welt“ Zwickau

    A special place for music: Opened in 1903, the “Neue Welt” concert hall in Zwickau is as charming as they come, all in beautiful Art Nouveau style. It regularly hosts world-famous orchestras and ensembles.

  • Saxon Museum of Industry Chemnitz

    The Saxon Museum of Industry comprises four different locations where visitors can explore Saxony’s industrial history, including in a former cloth factory and a tin mine. See impressive machines, historic cars and get insights into people’s lives from the onset of the industrialisation to the present day.
