Experience the world of mining up close at the visitor mine "Marie Louise Stolln" in Berggießhübel. The event offers an interesting guided tour underground, where you can learn more about the life and work of the miners as well as the geology of the region between the Ore Mountains and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. A special highlight is the visit to the Mother of God Lager, the former main extraction site for iron ore. Here you will be treated to a coffee set with two pieces of cake as well as coffee and tea in a special atmosphere by the underground lake. Live piano music by Christian Helm provides a cozy accompaniment.
