Meeting free-wheeling reindeer at a stroll through the zoo?
In the Nature and Wildlife Park Waschleithe, this is possible. With its predominantly native species and the large forest park grounds, Waschleithe is one of the finest zoos of the Ore Mountains. More than 200 animals from about 40 species are living in the wildlife park. During a stroll through the zoo, red deer, otters and many old breeds of domestic animals can be discovered in their natural environment. Climbing up to the raised stand enables observing grunting wild pigs and shy deer.
