Castle, mining & regional history and craftsmanship from the Ore Mountains

Let yourself be carried away into the eventful castle, town, mining and regional history and marvel at the unique craftsmanship of the Erzgebirge in the PERLA CASTRUM - A castle full of history, the exhibition for the whole family.

In Schwarzenberg Castle, the municipal museum PERLA CASTRUM attracts visitors with an exhibition for the whole family. Among other things, you can see the largest collection of bobbin lace in the Ore Mountains, evidence of traditional mining and typical regional crafts. Impressive exhibits on the art of carving in the Ore Mountains by carver Harry Schmidt can be admired and visitors can also immerse themselves in the special history of the "unoccupied period" in 1945. Children can create their own candle arch here or discover the history of the castle in a playful way in the castle tower.
