The place Wiesa, situated in the valley of the Zschopau and about 4 km away from the thermal bath Wiesenbad and from Annaberg-Buchholz was founded in 1389. Due to the emerging silver mining in the 15th century, the population grew enormously and so did the famous arithmetic master Adam Ries. The church St. Trinitatis, the first and only true to style church of the Erzgebirge in Art Nouveau, was built in the years 1903/04 and determines the image of the village today. Wiesa has approx. 1300 inhabitants and the tradition of lace-making, the mountain brotherhood and the riding club is maintained.
The charming surroundings of the village offer sights worth seeing for hiking enthusiasts.

In our restaurant with 50 seats you can be spoiled with typical Erzgebirge dishes and specialities of our house. In our large beer garden with a large barbecue area you can enjoy a cool drink or a hearty meal in summer. Especially in the Advent and Christmas season we arrange cosy evenings for our guests.
