SPORTS UNITED 2025 will be an unforgettable experience for all Chemnitz residents in September 2025. The entire stadium site will be transformed into a huge sports and exercise arena. Whether competitive or amateur athletes, young or old - everyone is welcome to join in, try out and celebrate sport in all its facets.
Over 85 sports are practised in Chemnitz, many of which you can try out during this week. For example, speed skating, but completely without ice, on a slippery mat. Or wheelchair basketball, where everyone is allowed to play in a sports wheelchair. If you fancy doing sport in a group, you can take part in one of the many tours - hiking, inline skating or, for the little ones, on a balance bike - and discover Chemnitz and the region at the same time. At the end of the event, a Chemnitz selection from the district association plays against the traditional team of Fortuna from the twin city of Düsseldorf.
