The European Center for the Arts HELLERAU opens the 2025/26 season with the HELLER Summer (22. - 30.08.) with two great dance evenings: Internationally acclaimed choreographer Trajal Harrell brings his distinctive blend of voguing, postmodern dance and theatrical flair to HELLERAU, followed a week later by Emanuel Gat with a choreography that is as powerful as it is poetic - a reunion with one of the most exciting voices in European dance.
In episode 3 of "da | sein - STADT.GESCHICHTE.TANZ", dancer Katja Erfurth, singer Julia Böhme and violinist Florian Mayer embark on a dance and musical walk through the garden city of Hellerau (premiere 30.08.). And the residency award exhibition of the 10th PORTRAITS Hellerau Photography Award under the motto "Echoes of Truth" presents two photographers in HELLERAU (vernissage 30.08., exhibition until 06.12. on all event days from one hour before the first event).
