Festival of Lights "Light our Vision"

Discover Chemnitz in a new light: for the third time, international light artists from all over Europe will be illuminating buildings and areas from 24 to 27 September 2025. The unique Chemnitz Light Art Festival sees itself as an artistic intervention as an urban development vision. In the spirit of the Capital of Culture motto "C the Unseen", hidden potentials are illuminated and the city centre is enlivened with tens of thousands of people. It is the shared passion for the city that drives the visionary initiators from the fields of architecture, urban planning and business to help shape Chemnitz in a sustainable way. Because nothing has to stay as it is. Especially not in Chemnitz.
