Short, sunny winter tour past the water park and the town of Geyer, famous for its sink-hole, with great views over the Ore Mountains.

From the car park on Thumer Strasse, follow Badstrasse towards the water park and continue straight on to the edge of the forest, where there is a hut. At this point, turn right and follow the edge of the forest towards Geyer. The last part of the slope also serves as the toboggan run “an der Waltershöhe”. Once at the bottom, turn right and hike parallel to the ski trail back to the car park, heading slightly uphill. The winter hiking trail is very sunny and offers beautiful views of the ridge. Pedestrians can carry on to Geyer, the Greifenbachtal valley with ski jumping complex and the Greifenbachstauweiher reservoir.
