Valley station Fichtelbergschwebebahn
The starting point of the hike is the valley station of the Fichtelberg suspension railway, from here you walk along Büttnerweg and Karlsbader Straße onto Alte Poststraße in the direction of Boží Dar. Before the border, turn right and walk past the "New House" ("Neues Haus") to the Sparkassen-Skiarena. Continue on shady forest paths across the Börnerwiesen area natural monument to Tellerhäuser. The trail leads you through the densely wooded Fichtelberg nature reserve. You will reach the "Rotes Vorwerk" via the Ausrückeweg. The last metres of the hike run parallel to the Vierenstraße and lead you along the Schindelbachtal valley back to Oberwiesenthal.
