Auf 21km über 450 Höhenmeter geht es vom Auersberg nach Tschechien. Blaternsky vrch (Plattenberg) heißt das nächste Ziel
Passing the “Mittelflügel”, the “Wellenschaukel” and the guest house “Sauschwemme” the route leads through the nature reserve “Kleiner Kranichsee”, one of the major raised bogs in the Ore Mountains. Take the old bobsleigh run heading towards Johanngeorgenstadt and cross the border to get to Potůčky (695 m). Continue following the forest road with a slight ascent, along the Schwarzwasser (black water). After taking a turn to the right in Luhy (former settlement) keep riding uphill to the Blatenský vrch (granit massif, 1,043 m, old lookout tower, “Wolfspinge”)
