Seiffen- Lesna Tour

This tour where you’ll cross a border is technically easy and physically not too demanding (mid-level). From the school car park in Seiffen, you’ll set off towards the town centre and up a steep climb towards the church. Follow the road and after only a few hundred metres turn left on a dirt road that leads in a southeasterly direction to Deutscheinsiedel. Keep right and cycle on quiet streets down to Deutschneudorf. You’ll then cross the border and follow the road up the mountain and towards Mikulovice. From there, the tour continues leisurely on tarmac forestry roads and without major altitude differences on the ridge of the Ore Mountains towards Lesná. On quiet roads, you’ll cycle to the border crossing Deutschkatharinenberg where you’ll cross back into Germany. After a short and steep ascent, the route continues northwards on forestry roads and via Oberseiffenbach back to Seiffen.
