A fascinating hike through hidden vineyards, historical treasures and breathtaking views of the picturesque landscape of Radebeul.

On your way, discover old vineyard walls and terraces hidden behind dense trees that bear witness to former winegrowing. After the phylloxera catastrophe in the late 19th century, these vineyards were abandoned and nature has reclaimed its habitat. Various experience stations along the trail describe this "vineyard in transition".

From the Albrechtshöhe, you have a fascinating view over the Dresden Heath, the Dresden TV tower and Saxon Switzerland. At the traditional "Graue Presse" estate, a display board commemorates the historic wine press, which can now be viewed in the Hoflößnitz Wine Museum.

Follow the enchanted Straken forest path, where you can discover the remains of Radebeul's historic water supply. From the lower Hohlweg, high up on the Hermannsberg, you can see the Steinerne Schnecke, an old stone construction from the 17th century, which used to serve as a thief and fire station and is now the landmark of the "Drei Herren" vineyard. From here, the trail leads through Oberlößnitz, where Radebeul shows its most beautiful side. Historic winegrowers' houses and sights line the route through the picturesque vineyard landscape.

A highlight is the historic Spitzhaus vineyard house, which now houses a panoramic restaurant. From the sun terrace, you have an impressive view of the "Goldener Wagen" vineyard and far beyond Radebeul. Right next to it is the Bismarck Tower, from whose plateau you can also enjoy the view. The trail continues via the Spitzhaustreppe staircase through the middle of the vineyard. At the Hoflößnitz, you can learn more about the history of Saxon viticulture and the work of the winegrowers. Afterwards, you can enjoy a glass of the exclusively organically grown wine on the wine terrace.

Wineries, romantic wine farms and wine tavernsare lined up along the Weinbergstraße. Many winegrowers invite you to themed wine tastings and vineyard tours.
