This is the third section of the Freiberger Mulde with a total length of 25.5 km.

Although there is still a lot to discover in and around Freiberg, today the route continues to Nossen, around 26 kilometers away. The route mostly runs directly through the beautiful Mulde valley and offers impressive views of nature. After just around 7 km, you reach the town of Großschirma to the north of Freiberg. Großschirma is best known for its former highest highway bridge in Europe, which spans the Freiberger Mulde.
