The first section of the Kammloipe runs from the trail entry at the IFA roundabout in Schöneck to Schneckenstein.

The Kammloipe runs through the Erzgebirge-Vogtland Nature Park and is among the longest, most beautiful, and snow-sure trails in Germany.

A route on the Kammloipe has its special charm; well-known winter sports resorts, dense forests, and the vastness on the heights of the Erzgebirge ridge provide an unforgettable skiing experience. Since the ridge is fairly flat, inexperienced cross-country skiers can also use the Kammloipe. Due to the numerous connecting trails along the entire course of the Kammloipe, winter sports enthusiasts have almost 100 km of trail network available.

At many trail entries, you will find parking lots, trail houses, ski rentals, and service stations.
The excellently groomed track and the magnificent winter landscape ensure a sporting experience of a special kind.
Along the way, you pass a varied profile with gentle descents, ascents, and sections for relaxed gliding. Numerous tourist and culinary offers in the towns near the Kammloipe invite you to take a break.
