The secrets, life's work and lifestyle of the world-famous master organ builder Gottfried Silbermann - divulged by his garrulous housekeeper Anna Magdalena Poltermann - are the focus of the guided tour through the historic old town.
You will be whisked away into the life and events of the 18th century in Freiberg. Due to its wealth of silver, the silver town experienced a real boom at this time. History and "Histörchen" as well as legend and truth can get mixed up when Mrs. Poltermann gets going.
During the tour, you will taste a real Freiberg silver herb and a piece of the legendary Freiberg egg tart. This is not the only time you will realize that the tour is delicious.
