The tour starts at the Saxon Fire Brigade Museum. Keep left, past the obelisk and follow the road alongside the Bundeswehr equipment depot. Continue straight on into the forest path and always ride alongside the tracks. At Jacobstahl station, keep right briefly onto "Zur Heide" and then immediately left again onto the road "Am Wald". After crossing the tracks, continue straight ahead on Gohrische Straße to Jacobstahl. Continue straight on through the village and at the end of the village, after the triangular column, turn right onto a forest path "Schäferei". At the next junction, turn diagonally right onto the Elbe cycle path, which leads to Gaitzschhäuser. After leaving the village, turn right at the next junction in the direction of Fichtenberg, then immediately left again onto Lange Straße via Mühlberger Straße and left again to Altenau. Turn right here onto the L671 and leave the village heading north. After about one kilometer, turn right and drive through the memorial site of the former Mühlberg camp.
After the memorial, turn left and follow the signs through the Neuburxdorf settlement to Kosilenzien. At the end of the village, turn right along the castle rampart, continue along field paths along the Rödergraben and cycle along the small Röder towards Kröbeln. Keep right there to reach Nieska via Mühlberger Straße, Lindenstraße and Riesaer Straße.
At the end of Nieska, turn left onto Spansberger Straße and cycle to Spansberg. Turn left again here via "Am Anger" to Dorfstraße and then turn right. Continue along Dorfstraße, which then turns into Teichweg, which leads directly into the pond area. At the end of the Teichweg you reach Tiefenau. Cycle past the brewery pond on the left and then turn right onto the main road B169. Pass the castle church and leave the main road after 200 meters on the right to reach the village of Heidehäuser. Continue along Waldstraße on forest and field paths along the Gohrischheide, then turn left onto Kasernenstraße and continue straight on past the solar park back to the starting point.
