The route starts from Leipnitz along extensive fruit orchards. On 1,500 ha of cultivation area, about 40,000 t of pome, stone, and berry fruits ripen here annually. Modern storage, sorting, and marketing technology in the cooling warehouse complex in Dürrweitzschen, which can hold up to 25,000 tons, ensures year-round availability of the fruits grown in the fruit-growing region.

Leipnitz
The circular route starts in Leipnitz. From there, the path first takes you to Papsdorf and then to Dürrweitzschen. In a north-eastern direction, you pass the villages of Zschopach, Draschwitz, and Ablaß before you reach Querbitzsch.
Then the route swings southwards via Börtewitz to Kroptewitz and further to Sitten. Via the villages Doberschütz, Polditz, and Böhlen, it finally goes back to the starting point in Leipnitz, where your circular route concludes.

Wer mit dem ÖPNV anreist, kann am Bahnhof Tanndorf den Mulderadweg als Zubringer bis zum Start der Obstland-Radroute (Teilroute I) in Polditz nutzen.
