From Leipnitz, the tour starts along extensive orchards. Around 40,000 tons of pome, stone and berry fruit ripen here every year on 1,500 hectares of cultivated land. Modern storage, sorting and marketing technology in the cold storage complex in Dürrweitzschen, which can hold up to 25,000 tons, ensures that the fruit grown in Obstland is available all year round.

Leipnitz

The circular tour starts in Leipnitz. From there, the route first takes you to Papsdorf and on to Dürrweitzschen. In a north-easterly direction, you pass the villages of Zschopach, Draschwitz and Ablaß before reaching Querbitzsch.
The route then turns south via Börtewitz to Kroptewitz and on to Sitten. Via the towns of Doberschütz, Polditz and Böhlen, you finally return to the starting point in Leipnitz, where your circular tour comes to an end.
