This hiking tour leads you to the “Affenstein” viewpoint, boasting charming views of the Zschopau river. We then continue to the Mini-Weissbach model village, and follow a stream back to our starting point.
From the hiking car park in Wilischthal, ramble over the Zschopau river and uphill to the Affenstein viewpoint. Enjoy panoramic views of the village of Wilischthal and the Zschopautal valley. The green-marked path runs along the idyllic course of the river Wilisch. It then runs up to Weissbach through meadows and fields. In Weissbach you can admire the Mini-Weissbach model village, before following the green markers towards Schlösschen. Follow the yellow markers to the right along the stream, and walk a short uphill section through the village. Pass the sports field and head up to the Reinhardfelsen. Then it’s downhill, briefly following the Zschopau, back to where you started.
