Starting from the Deutschneudorf church, consecrated in 1736 (1), we hike uphill. Passing the old fire station (2), turn around at the 3rd station, the old baptismal bell, and enjoy the view of the Erzgebirge ridge.
Continue past the soccer pitch and turn right shortly before leaving the village onto Kupferweg towards Brüderwiese. At the end of this small settlement, at a little resting place, we find the 4th stop. Here, too, we have a beautiful view across the Schweinitz valley into Bohemia. After a few kilometers we reach Deutscheinsiedel.
On a short loop through the village, we leave the border crossing to the Czech Republic on the right and walk to the Deutscheinsiedel church (5). This church was consecrated in 1905 and, like its sister in Deutschneudorf, is open for daily visits in the summer months.
We follow the signs and after a few meters turn left into a settlement and shortly afterwards reach the road to Seiffen. At the end of the village, we turn left and walk along forest paths and along the Russia-Germany earth road to the Seiffen open-air museum (6). Beware, there is a small loop and we have to walk back a bit before we turn right into the Ahornbergweg. Here we cross the Oberheidelberger Straße and at the end of the settlement we walk along old miners' paths parallel to the signposted Kammweg Erzgebirge down to the world-famous Seiffen mountain church (7/8).
We see the toy village of Seiffen, the small houses of the miners and toy makers. The 741m high Reicheltberg mountain greets us above the village. Just a few meters above the church we find the next stop, the "Geyerin" pinge (9), a natural stage created by collapsed mine workings. We hike
further and further uphill and reach many beautiful views of Ahornberg (823m), Reicheltberg, the small mountain town of Sayda or the church of Maly Haj (Kleinhan).
This takes us to the cemetery of the scattered settlement of Oberseiffenbach with the old school bell (10). After Oberseiffenbach, we turn into Zänkerweg and reach the large open space Klötzerhübel, turn left and come to the gem "Kapelle am Weg" (11) and descend to the small village of Oberlochmühle (12).
Above the village, turn right onto the Kupferleitenweg and reach the old mountain town of Hora Svaté Kateriny (St. Catherine's Hill) opposite. At a rest area we find our 13th stop here, the old eternity bell.
Now we descend to the Amber Room adventure mine (14) and the shaft cave (15). Through the Morgengründel, past several small ponds and biotopes, we come to the Anton Günther Stone with the hour bell (16) and after a short time we reach the starting point of this description again.
