A German - Czech bike route following the footsteps of George Bähr, the builder of the Frauenkirche.

You start at Altenberg train station and follow the street towards Geisingberg. Before the mountain, turn left onto Hohe Street. Follow the path straight ahead across the Bärenstein - Wildpark intersection. At the next shelter, turn right and continue right and downhill. When you reach Tal Street, follow it to Lauenstein. Head up to the castle and across the market, then at the cemetery turn right onto Zschörnelweg and continue. Now pass the retention basin towards Fürstenwalde. Then keep left and ride through the village where George Bähr was born. At the Fürstenwalde country inn turn right towards Müglitz. About 100 m after the bridge keep right and follow the path to the Czech side. Take the gravel road uphill towards Fojtovice. In Fojtovice use the main street and head towards Cinovec. Through the village to Hotel Lugsteinhof, continue to Kahleberg and downhill over the I-Wing, Old Zaunhäuser Way and Cross Trail back to the starting point.
