The tour covers the Dittersdorfer Höhe ridge, providing one of the most striking views of the lower Ore Mountains. Afterwards, ramble across meadows and fields to the Burgstein lookout point, which offers idyllic views of the Zwönitz river valley, the next stage on your hike.

Starting at Dittersdorf train station, follow the road for a short while, then turn right into Schwarzer Weg and continue until you get to the ski jumping hill. Carry on up the hill to the right, past the ski lift, until you reach the Dittersdorfer Höhe after a steep climb. You will be rewarded with a fantastic panorama that stretches as far the highest mountains of the Ore Mountains. Walk downhill to Dittersdorf and uphill to Weissbach. At the Gasthof zur Linde inn, turn towards Kemtau and follow the path to the Burgstein. Step back and appreciate the delightful view of the Zwönitz river valley. Now it’s time to head downhill and through the village of Kamerun. Turn right onto the Zwönitztalweg and continue along the river until you get back to your starting point.
