Where Luther preached

The Luther Trail in Saxony is part of the Central German Luther Trail with the routes in Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. At the same time, there are connections to the international network of hiking trails via the Way of St. James and the Luther Trail in Bavaria. It belongs to the pan-European offers of spiritual tourism. What is to be seen and experienced can stimulate one to rethink one's own everyday life and inner orientation. Because sometimes it does you good to take a new path.

Discover in Torgau the castle Hartenfels with its chapel and the current exhibition "Luther and the Princes". The path leads you further to Süptitz, with a monument of the battle on the Süptitzer heights. Another attraction of the route is the mill in Großwig and the bear column in Weidenhain. In addition, the nature reserve Pressel with heather forest is on the way. Once you arrive in Bad Düben, you can admire the historic castle, market and ship mill. The church in Löbnitz can impress with the largest picture ceiling in Germany.
