The Vereinigte Mulde flows through the Leipzig region, past beautiful idyllic meadow landscapes, through villages and historically significant towns such as Grimma and Wurzen.
One of the biggest paddling spectacles in Germany takes place on this route every year. At the end of August, hundreds of water sports enthusiasts come together to master this tour from Grimma to Wurzen.
The tour leads past the impressive Trebsen Castle and the Nitschka manor. Before that, you could take a break in Nerchau. Two weirs have to be bypassed on this stretch.
