Experience mining around the Altenberg holiday region.
Start in Altenberg at the train station. First, take Rehefelder Straße to the Flemmingweg junction. Switch to it and follow the signs to Zinnwald-Georgenfeld via Schneise 31 and the Georgenfelder Weg. Continue through the town center towards Geising. Turn left to the visitor mine. Then continue along the Langer Gassenweg and along the Aschergraben back to Altenberg. Follow the B170 about 100 m downhill and turn into the area of the Arno-Lippmann Shaft. Follow the route past the Mining Museum along Mühlenstraße. Via the mining trail, go around the Pinge and then return to Altenberg and the starting point of the route.
