You start at the guest office or the show mine in the centre of the village and reach the Pobershau circular hiking trail via the Stangenweg uphill and, keeping to the right, the "Blauer Stein" lookout rock. Around the Marterberg and through the Wagenbach valley, the trail crosses the road in the village of "Niederer Grund" and uphill onto the Netzschuppenweg, which takes you to the church. Along the mountain road you reach the "Katzenstein" viewing rock. After a short detour at the "Grünen Graben", the route leads back downhill along the slope path, where you cross the road and turn into the Brettmühlenweg. Crossing the road to Marienberg, maintaining the hiking direction, you return to the starting point.
