In the picturesque Vogtland, you experience the sound of a very charming, gentle landscape.

The region is also called Musikwinkel because of its over 300-year-old craft of musical instrument making. In many small and large workshops, you can watch the masters at work.

The wood for the instruments is, by the way, sourced from the local forests, which are as abundant as sand. The dense forests, surrounded by some characteristic mountain hills, make a trip very impressive. In the sparsely populated area, secluded roads invite you to escape from the noisy everyday life. The Sachsengrund shows itself in a wild, romantic way, the areas around the Pöhl reservoir are generous, and around Klingenthal, the roads are winding. Speaking of Klingenthal:

After the solitude of the forest follows cosmopolitan flair: with the Göltzschtal Bridge, the region has the largest brick bridge in the world. Also huge is the most modern ski jump ramp in Europe, located in the Vogtlandarena in Klingenthal. The view from the top is breathtakingly beautiful. There are also sights worth seeing in the Klein Vogtland miniature display in Adorf, the musical instrument museum in Markneukirchen, the Vogtland open-air museum in Landwüst, or the Dragon Cave in Syrau.
