The completely renovated Erlahammer Manor is part of the Rother Berg mining district and belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Mining Region Erzgebirge / Krušnohorí. In the former mining area for red iron ore, long described as "Saxony's largest ironstone treasure", the completely renovated listed manor house Erlahammer invites you to visit. During the tour of the exhibition "From the oldest iron hammer to the modern age", visitors can immerse themselves in the interesting mining history of the village and the region. The exposition was designed for all generations and explicitly invites visitors to touch it.

Additional information about the historical building complex and the other components of the World Heritage Site can be obtained on request during an audio tour. Afterwards, we recommend a visit to the cozy Heimatstube "Leben und Wirken Manfred Blechschmidt" (Life and Work of Manfred Blechschmidt), which is run by the local Heimat- und Schulverein Erla-Crandorf e.V. (Local History and School Association Erla-Crandorf) and provides an insight into the life of the writer of local history and dialect.
