The romantic, now listed landscape park between Grimma and Höfgen is situated above steeply rising porphyry rocks on the banks of the Mulde. Jutta Ida Gleisberg had the park laid out around 1900 based on the great models of English landscape parks and Italian gardens. A main visual axis is directed from the granite round tower across the chestnut avenue to the Cistercian nunnery Marienthron in Nimbschen, which is located directly opposite on the other side of the river and can be reached by hand-operated passenger ferry. There are also historical water features, sculptures and sound installations in the park.
