The holiday apartments are located in the traditional inn "De Hammerschänke." In our house, there is a "George Bähr Stübel," a small museum in memory of the famous Baroque master builder and town council master George Bähr, who was born in Fürstenwalde. There is a beautiful expansive garden/lawn directly at the edge of the forest, with grilling facilities. Hiking trails, such as the George Bähr circular trail, pass directly by the house. From here, it is 2 km to the pedestrian border crossing Müglist, leading to the Czech Republic—here begins a very beautiful hike to the Mückentürmchen with a cable car to Krupka and the Maria Schnee Monastery. In the village, there is a bakery; the nearest shopping and dining options are located in the neighboring towns of Geising and Altenberg. Horse-drawn carriage rides can be organized directly from the house.
