Landskron has been a famous beer brand since 1869 and is the largest brew manufactory in Germany.
For more than 140 years the local beer of Lusatia has been brewed in this enchantingly beautiful ensemble of buildings using the art of craft brewing. The facility has been a listed building since 1981.
The curious can visit the brewery and taste the beer right on the spot. The visitor centre is open daily from 10 am. In addition, the Kulturbrauerei offers a wide range of events: Concerts, comedy shows, theme parties, musicals and fairs. An annual event highlight is the "BRAUfest der Sinne" in June.
Film crews have also been guests at the Landskron BRAU-MANUFAKTUR: it has already been seen on the cinema screen as the New York harbour building in "Around the World in 80 Days" with Jackie Chan and as the chocolate factory in the film version of the popular Swiss comic "Papa Moll".
