The World Transplant Games will take place from 17 to 25 August 2025 in Dresden. For the first time in the more than 40-year history of this event, a German city will be hosting the event. Around 2,000 athletes with organ transplants from 60 countries on all continents will take part and compete in various athletics disciplines, cycling, swimming, tennis, table tennis and other sports.
