THE challenging landscape marathon in the Erzgebirge/Vogtland Nature Park for runners and cyclists takes place every year in September.
More than 1,000 athletes compete over various running distances (8 km, half marathon, marathon) and cycling distances (30 km, 50 km, 100 km). The challenging routes are also extremely scenic and some run over all 3 dams of the Eibenstock, Carlsfeld and Sosa reservoirs.
