In addition to Saxon arts and crafts, this traditional market offers plenty of entertainment every day and major spectacles on the weekends. On the second weekend of Advent, Dresdeners pay homage to the city’s traditional Christmas pastry, the Original Dresdner Christstollen, at the Stollen Festival. On the third weekend of Advent, the Pyramid Festival is celebrated.
