We have created a virtual castle environment inspired by one of Saxony’s best-loved sights. Through this gamified online experience, you will learn about fascinating places, notable personalities, and the rich cultural heritage of Saxony – all at your own pace and from a place of your own choice.
How It Works
Enter: Click the button below to get started (we recommend using Google Chrome on your desktop).
Set up: Create your avatar and choose your name as it should appear in the game.
Navigate: Use the arrow keys or WASD on your keyboard to move around.
Interact: When your avatar approaches an interactive object, it will glow yellow. Press 'X' to reveal its content.
Explore multiple rooms filled with study materials about Saxony. You will be guided by Saxony’s most splendid ruler, Augustus the Strong. Each room contains a small quiz, which you have to complete in order reveal a password to unlock the next room.
Complete a level to earn a certificate issued by Saxony Tourism.
You can leave the game at any time and relaunch it later, as long as you use the same device and credentials.
