This scenic route hike takes you from Sebnitz via the Panorama Trail to Großstein and from there into the Kirnitzschtal via Kuhstall to the Lichtenhainer Waterfall.
The route has a moderate trail profile but is still classified as moderate in difficulty due to its length of almost 17 kilometers, but it does not require any special skills. It runs relatively flat over Lichtenhain after a short but still steep ascent from Sebnitz, crossing the Panorama Trail, which offers an interesting view over almost the entire Hintere Sächsische and Böhmische Schweiz and, in good weather, even to the Hoher Schneeberg.
Further towards the Kirnitzschtal, you then pass the so-called Großstein - an impressive viewpoint over the Kirnitzschtal to the Hintere Sächsische Schweiz.
Then you go from the Kirnitzschtal a bit further into the Sächsische Schweiz National Park - specifically into the Kleiner Zschand - to the famous Kuhstall, which is worth discovering and exploring.
From Kuhstall, you then go back into Kirnitzschtal to the Lichtenhainer Waterfall, where the route ends suitably.
