Holzhau, train station
Holzhau, pond house
The valley of the Upper Freiberg Mulde between Holzhau and Teichhaus is completely forested. The Mulde, road, cross-country ski trail and hiking trail initially share the few meters between the rather massive towering mountain ranges and one imagines oneself in a dark (magical) forest. But as the valley opens up towards Teichhaus, the surrounding heights also become gentler: snow-covered mountain meadows, snow-covered branches and bushes fluffed up by snow create a glittering world in the sunshine, which invites you to dream with the gentle gurgling sound of the Mulde water.
ATTENTION !!! This winter hiking route is a forest path that is often (but not always) cleared by the forest.
Walk on the path at YOUR OWN DANGER!
