A route through snowy forests - with a great view from Kahleberg and sledding opportunities for all families.
You start at the Altenberg Tourist Information heading towards Galgenteiche via Schellerhauer Weg. Walk straight ahead over the campsite to the dam of the large Galgenteich. On this, continue walking to the right. At the end, keep going straight over the bridge and turn left (to avoid the cross-country ski trail). After a short distance, go right again to Track 31. Follow this to the left and cross Rehefelder Straße. Continue until you turn right onto the I-Wing. After about 300 m, turn right again onto Track 30. Here you reach Kahleberg. The return route starts immediately via Track 30 and the I-Wing. Continue on this until you can turn left onto Old Zaunhäuser Way. This leads you to the ski lift and the adjacent sledding hill. Turn left through the Kurpark and back to the train station.
