The motorcycle town of Zschopau cordially invites all bikers to experience the region and the birthplace of Saxon motorcycle construction.

Starting from the motorcycle town of Zschopau, the first stage destination is the Gelenau viewing tower. The 27.5 m high viewing tower is somewhat hidden above the sports field at the "Sportareal Erzgebirgsblick".From the viewing plateau, which is reached via 136 steps, an impressive panorama of the central and western Ore Mountains opens up as far as the border regions to the Czech Republic and the mountain ranges around Augustusburg Castle.

We continue in the direction of Thum. We make a detour via Jahnsbach to the Geyrischer Teich pond. The ride up to the "Greifensteine" viewpoint is also worthwhile. We continue along the Giftmehlweg to Ehrenfriedersdorf. We want to go up to the next viewpoint on the Sauberg. There is a visitor mine here, the Ehrenfriedersdorf tin mine.

Via the "cold muff" we reach the mountain town of Wolkenstein, whose landmark, Wolkenstein Castle, towers above the town. From here you have a breathtaking view of the valley and "Wolkensteiner Schweiz".

From here, we follow the Zschopau downstream through the wild and romantic Zschopau valley to Scharfenstein Castle, home of the Robin Hood of the Ore Mountains - Karl Stülpner. From Scharfenstein Castle, it is just a short ride along the Zschopau back to the town of the same name.

We round off the day with a final climb to the "Dicker Heinrich" keep at Wildeck Castle and take a last look at the wild and romantic Zschopau valley.
