Bike hiking route on the Karls route to Jeleni (Hirschenstand) in Bohemia; there is a simple place to stop at the inn "beim Rudi"; returning via Sauschwemme and around the Auersberg and the Sosa reservoir

The route initially leads from Eibenstock down into the valley of the Große Bockau and continues from there on the Karls route through Wildenthal and Oberwildenthal up to the Hirschenstander border pass and from there down to Jeleni (Hirschenstand), a former village with more than 1,000 inhabitants. Today, only 4 buildings remain; one of them is a small inn, which invites you to take a short break. Over the border pass, the ridge is reached again and then the small forest settlement of Sauschwemme at the foot of the Auersberg. The Auersberg is circled; as well as the Sosa reservoir. After crossing the dam, it goes back down into the valley of the Große Bockau, over the Rektor bridge and then past the "Lehmannstein" back up to Eibenstock.
