Village romance for young and old

The tour starts at the Saigerhütte Olbernhau. First we follow the Flöhatal cycle path to the center of Olbernhau (town hall). Continue through the shopping street of Olbernhau (please push for a short stretch - one-way street!), continue via Markt to the traffic lights, then turn right via "Mühlgässchen" and "Auf der Bleiche", following the signposted cycle path through allotments and meadows. The Flöha valley cycle path then accompanies us again through Blumenau, Reukersdorf, Hammer and Wernsdorf (steep ascent). After leaving the village on the heights, we leave the Flöhatal cycle path and cycle on quiet, narrow roads via Forchheim, Haselbach to Dörnthal. Possibly stop off at the Ölmühle or Braunmühle (restaurant). From there, continue through the village of Dörnthal to Sayda (attention: main road), steep ascent to Sayda. In the center we turn right into the "Alte Heidersdorfer Straße". Continue through lush meadows, turn right in Heidersdorf, from now on the tour continues partly on a gravel path along the meadow. Another ascent via Relhök to the "Hand" forest crossroads. There turn left towards Saigerhütte (steep descent) via Hüttengrund to the start.
