The approximately 25 km long stage from Sohland am Rotstein to Kodersdorf features beautiful forest trails. A hike full of surprises with a special, extraordinary church and bizarre rocks.

Reichenbach surprises with an extraordinary church: Romanesque core, it was a fortified church in the Hussite period, hence the strong wall around the area, inside it is designed in early Baroque style and very richly furnished for a Protestant church. The reason for this is that the St. John’s Church was the archpriest's seat of the Diocese of Meissen and the burial church of the noble family of Gersdorf. The current appearance dates from 1670. From Reichenbach the path leads towards Mengelsdorf and from there past the Wundererle into the Königshainer mountains. There are fantastic granite rocks there. Also remarkable and worth visiting is the man-made landscape of the abandoned quarries. The stage is a wonderful tension arc between sacred and technical culture and nature.
