To the Pressnitz dam

From the market, cycle through the town hall gate to the Zschopautal cycle path, which you follow to Niederau, but do not change sides of the river there. Shortly before Streckewalde, the Preßnitz valley branches off. A cycle path now runs along the former embankment of the narrow-gauge railroad and many bridges as far as Steinbach, then parallel to the museum railroad. At the station in Schmalzgrube, cycle straight on, soon leaving the road, to the border crossing and in the direction of Kryštofovy Hamry. The picturesque drinking water reservoir is located above this Czech village. Follow the road (not over the dam wall) in a westerly direction, after approx. 1.5 km on cycle route 3003, to the border town of Vejprty. Once in Bärenstein, cycle below the B 95 in the valley of the Pöhlbach via Königswalde and Geyersdorf to Thermalbad Wiesenbad. After crossing the Zschopau, you return to Wolkenstein on the Zschopau valley cycle path.
