To Dittersdorfer Höhe and through the Zwönitz valley

The route takes you to the ridge Dittersdorfer Höhe, one of the most striking views of the lower Ore Mountains. Then you walk across meadows and fields to the viewpoint Burgstein with a view into the idyllic river valley of the Zwönitz, which you then wander through.

Starting at Dittersdorf station, follow the street briefly, turn right into Schwarzen Weg and reach the ski jump. Here continue uphill to the right, past the ski lift until after a steep climb you reach Dittersdorfer Höhe. You are rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view that reaches to the highest mountains of the Ore Mountains. You walk downhill to Dittersdorf and uphill to Weißbach. At the Gasthof zur Linde, turn towards Kemtau and follow the path to Burgstein. From here you enjoy an idyllic view of the Zwönitz river valley. Then continue downhill and through the village Kamerun. Turn right onto Zwönitztalweg and follow it along the river until you return to the start point.
