The hiker starts at the NaturparkHaus Bad Düben and first follows the Torgischer hiking trail, which begins there, through the beautiful old town of Bad Düben until reaching a shopping center where it meets the Tiglitz circular route. Now the circular route initially follows the Torgischer hiking trail together, heading east out of the town. For the first three kilometers, a comfortable new asphalt path leads up an end moraine hill, delighting the hiker with a wonderful panoramic view of the town, the fields, and the surrounding villages. Then it continues on natural forest paths through part of the Tiglitz forest, and after about one kilometer, the Tiglitz circular route branches off from the Torgischer trail and leads through the typical landscape of the Dübener Heide. A very beautiful old path alternately passes fields and repeatedly immerses into the nearby forest. The path is lined with old fruit trees and blooming hedges, no civilization noise, only the buzzing of insects and the trilling of larks accompany the hiker. You feel transported back to an earlier time. Further on, past the heath villages Kossa and Durchwehna, the hiker enters the forest again after about ten kilometers, and the path leads into a shady, damp valley. Here, shortly before the Gleinermühle, the Schleifbach is dammed, and the beaver, the emblem animal of the Dübener Heide, has established itself here and left its traces. Passing under a viaduct, leaving the Gleinermühle on the right, the path ascends steeply to the left at the Heidebahn railway embankment and follows a green forest path towards Bad Düben. Once the modern site of the Federal Police is reached, after about one kilometer, the hiker again sees their starting/ending point.
