- From the hiking car park, follow the Sauwald stream past the forest inn & hotel "Am Sauwald" towards the nature conservation center. Following the European hiking trail, the route leads you towards Tannenberg. In the center of the village you will find the Paßklausenturm. Following the EB further, you reach the Binge in Geyer and then go down over the Walters Höhe (698 m) into the Greifenbach valley. The extensive network of hiking trails leaves you spoilt for choice on your way over the Greifenbach reservoir to the Greifensteine. From there, follow the Greifenbach to its confluence with the Zschopau at Tannenberg. Now it is just a few meters back to your starting point: the forest inn & hotel "Am Sauwald".
